Biography

Dylan Jett was born on September 19th 2002 in Melbourne, Australia. From the time he could talk he displayed obvious talents in acting, comedy, and music.

Dylan's family history is ingrained in the performing arts. His maternal grandfather, as well as being a published author of crime, mystery and sci-fi books in his native Italy, was also a musician and an artist who painted sets for Spagetthi Westerns in  Cinecittà (Italy's answer to Hollywood), whilst his grandmother was an Opera Singer. His paternal uncle is a former assistant Director who has worked on many Australian Television shows including 'Neighbours' and 'Home & Away', and who later went on to direct Indian Bollywood Movies.

Dylan lives in Melbourne, Australia, with his father Petros (a recording engineer, musician and audio designer), his mother Debbi (a jazz singer & award-winning wedding singer) and older brother Jesse, who is also a guitarist, singer & songwriter. Unsurprisingly, in addition to his talent and passion for acting, Dylan is also a talented and dedicated musician - a singer/songwriter, producer and pianist who is also competent in multiple additional instruments.  Dylan began performing live with the Variety Club Youth Performance Group at the age of 8, taking lead parts in the choir at several major performances including the Good Friday Appeal, AFL Grand Final Luncheon, The Variety Club Bash, and several televised performances.

In 2020, Dylan began a partnership with manager Nicolas Larsson-Billet, of Midas Music Inc. and began collaborating on several original songs with Nicolas as well as many other Australian and International writers and producers.

Under the guideship of Midas Music Inc, Dylan co-wrote and released "Packing" followed by "Tokyo"  and "Break My Heart" in 2021. Nicolas and Dylan then began collaborating with power producer duo "1and2 Productions", this has now grown into an ongoing collaboration partnership. Their first release together in 2022 was "RED", released through Immune Recordings (AWAL), followed by "Better in My Bed" in early 2023. Together they have many more some exciting collaborations and releases planned for the remainder of 2023 and going forward.

He has also recorded a song with Grammy Award winning songwriter Rob Davis (Kylie Minogue / Sophie Ellis Bextor), released by Europen musicians "Nightfreaks" on the ToCo music label.

Dylan also enjoys Martial Arts, and has black belt in Karate. To expand on his skills, he also dabbles in Muai Thai and Boxing. He also enjoys keeping a fitness regime which includes running and strength training.

Dylan's acting career began as a young child, when he appeared in Australian television shows including 'Rove Live' and 'Talking About Your Generation', 'Neighbours' and 'Fat Tony (Underbelly)' as well as several TV commercials and voice overs, and a number of Short Films.

At the age of 11 he was hand picked by Russell Crowe for the supporting role of  Orhan in The Water Diviner. It was an amazing experience for him to work with, and learn from, such a stellar cast of Australian and International actors including Russell Crowe, Olga Kurylenko, Jai Courtney, Steve Bastoni, Ryan Corr and Isabel Lucas (and many others). This was Dylan's first major movie role, and through this experience, Dylan fell in love with acting in Movies.

He became particularly fond of Russell, Olga and Steve, with whom he worked very closely, and hopes to one day have the opportunity to work with again. He has kept in touch with his co-stars regularly through Instagram and Twitter and catches up with them whenever he can.

In 2018 Dylan filmed a role in "Legends", a  Sitcom about life in Melbourne in the 1980s, as well as a guest role in ABC Children's series "The InBESTigators". In 2019 he appeared in Feature Film "A Small Punch in a Little Town".

He used 2020 and the COVID 19 lockdown period to work on his music as well as honing in on his acting craft and undertaking further acting training.

In 2021, Dylan filmed a lead role in web series "At World's End" and a supporting role in independent film "Nancy Nancy" as well as TVCs and voice-over roles.

In June 2022, Dylan signed with prestigious agency Active Artists Management,  and is hoping to continue acting in both television and feature films, exploring a variety of genres, including Dramas, Action Films, Comedies, Thrillers and Horrors.
